On December 12, 2009, Manuel Teixeira Gomes House was officially opened - a cultural space located in the building where Manuel Teixeira Gomes was born and lived. It has a multipurpose room, a local bibliographic collection and the Manuel Teixeira Gomes estate, among other facilities available to researchers and those interested in the life and work of the writer and Statesman.
